🍃Our Mission
Our mission at the Balcombe Ecological Society is to conserve, enhance, and restore habitats through hands-on conservation and to educate people about the importance of biodiversity. Our society places a strong emphasis on community involvement, especially among young people.
🍃Request for help
The Balcombe Ecological Society is requesting your help to update local records of flora and fauna. We have just received back our ecological report from the Sussex Biodiversity Centre, and while the results were encouraging, the data was slightly outdated. If you would like to become a 'Wildlife Spotter' for the society, please download iNaturalist and log your sightings around the village - we will do the rest!
